How to Hide any Drive in My Computer
Most of you must have wondered if there exists a way without using software to Hide a Drive completely so that it cannot be viewed or accessed without unlocking it. Well for those who have and who haven't yet, here is a one of the method showing "How To Hide Any Drive"
1.Go To Start --> Run or use Win+R keys and type "cmd" and press OK.
2.This will open Command Prompt for you. Now type "diskpart" and press Enter.
Note: In Window Vista and higher you will get a security warning, bypass it clicking on allowing.
3.Once in Diskpart type "list volume" and press Enter.This will list all the partitions.
4.Now type "select volume
5. Now type "remove letter *Name of Drive*". For ex:- for C:/ type C
6.All done. Now open your computer and see that drive is made hidden.
Now to make a drive Unhidden
1.Follow first 4 steps same as above.
2.Now type "assign letter *Name of Drive*". For ex:- for C:/ type C
For Vista/Windows 7 the commands becomes slightly different here:
"assign letter=*Name of Drive*"
You have successfully unlocked the Hidden Drive.

I want to share my experience with you, as it was slightly different..
Sorry, I have copied and edited your post to show it..
How to Hide any Drive in My Computer

. If u type select volume again it will not identify it.
Now to make a drive Unhidden
1.Follow first 3 steps same as above.. In the volume list Hidden drive’s NAME will not be shown..
Note the Volume No. of hidden drive..
2. type select volume.(eg Volume F=4). It displays” Volume 4 selected”.
3. Now type "assign letter *Name of Drive*". For ex:- for F:/ type F
For Vista/Windows 7 the commands becomes slightly different here:
"assign letter=*Name of Drive*"
You have successfully unlocked the Hidden Drive.
